Excavation work covering 400 m² allowed us to further our knowledge of an important building located in the middle of the western area of the roman town of Poitiers, where the main monuments were built at the end of the 1st century p. C. The work effectuated uncovered a heated room. In addition, the angle southwest of the building can be interpreted as an area concentrating thermal rooms. This reinforces therefore the hypothesis of baths issued in 1982. Further work has been carried out concerning technical details such as the adjustments to the slope. Beyond the functional analysis, studies of marbles and mortar bring information on the themes of the economy of supply for this type of building.Une fouille de 400 m² a permis de compléter le...
